Design Week Sacramento is a weeklong celebration of Sacramento’s design community. Throughout the week, we host Lectures, Panels, Workshops, Networking Events, Studio Tours, and more! All events are hosted by our local design community with the mission to improve the awareness of, and access to, the diverse careers that make up our creative economy.
Our theme for the year is Multi-dimensional.
Creativity knows no boundaries! We’re not just creators, designers, or doers. We’re also leaders, entrepreneurs, and dreamers. Behind every creative is a kaleidoscope of identities and interests that is constantly evolving.
At Design Week, we invite you to embrace your multifaceted identity and curiosities. Explore a diverse range of talks, workshops, and conversations. Connect with old friends or make new discoveries. Come as yourself, and walk away an even more multidimensional, inspired creative human.

This year, Design Week Sacramento introduces an exciting new format. We'll have nightly events throughout the week, each focused on a different creative industry, followed by an inspiring conference-style weekend hosted at The Urban Hive. The weekend will feature motivating keynotes along with breakout sessions covering business development, professional growth, and creative workshops.

Design Week Sacramento is our largest annual event usually held the third week of every October. For this event, we compile a diverse collection of creators, designers, influencers, image-makers, artists, performers, and creative business leaders to inspire our creative community through their shared stories and experiences

We'll have nightly events throughout the week, each focused on a different creative industry. Featured events include an Exhibit Design Tour at Crocker Art Museum.
Conference
Usually spread out over a week, we will have a jam-packed weekend, full of workshops, talks, networking, and of course - a party!
